In a building in which this generation of a fans are accustomed to seeing goals scored by the Baltimore Blast, or the older generation remember many boxing matches, fans turned out to the Du Burns Arena for another great show from Maryland's rising independant wrestling company, Real Championship Wrestling.
Derek Frazier open up the show and set the tone immediately by addressing the crowd and letting them know that unfortunately Osiraian Portal would have to forfeit titles due to an injury. As Frazier was announcing how the tag titles would be decided, he was interrupted by BLK OUT members, Ruckus, Robby Mireno, and The Black Jeez.
Ruckus indicated that he was giving the titles to BLK OUT. Frazier immediately voided that match. He placed Ruckus in a match with a new comer, which he lost, and Mireno in a match with Ophidian which he also lost.
A match I was really looking forward to was The Black Jeez vs Ryan McBride. These two had a lot of animosity built up and they really displayed it in the ring. In the end, McBride would get himself disqualified, but that would not stop him from continuing to punish the Black Jeez at the conclusion of the match.
Christian York recieved his rematch for the RCW World Heavyweight Championship against Azrieal. When Azrieal won the title on August 6, he celebrated by running all over the DU Burns Arena. On this night, celebration time was over. These two really took it to each other, and many times during the match, I thought that perhaps Azrieal's title win was a fluke. In the end, Azrieal used a roll up with a Ric Flair-like assist from the ropes to score the victory.
