There are three teams that are 6-7 going into this week, and a lost along with a win from another team will spell the end of their playoff hopes.  With four teams with 8-5 records, a win will help them, but by no means will it seal the deal for these teams. In the AFC, The Texans, Ravens, Patriots and Steelers all are 10-3 and none of these teams shows any signs of slowing down. With the Steelers facing another 10-3 team, the 49ers, this will be the most exciting Monday Night Football game of the season. Since Becoming a starter, he has only lost one game, but Tim Tebow has biggest challenge to date. This week, he looks to face Tom Brady and the New England Patriots. Many are saying that Tebow is not an NFL quarterback. Tebow responds by going out there each and every week and winning games. Going against a team that does not have a great defense, things should be a huge testament game for Tebow. When Tebow took over, he was his Broncos were not even thought about when it came to playoff talks. Currently, they hold the fifth seed and a win Sunday will help propel them closer to the playoffs.

As the NFL season comes to close, Week 13 is more important than ever. For teams such as the Packers and 49ers, their playoffs spots are pretty much guaranteed. But for teams such as the Ravens, Steelers, and Patriots, they are nearly a shoe in to be in the playoffs, but now is the time when seeding becomes very important. Then there are the Dallas Cowboys and the New York Giants. Two teams who switched roles in the NFC East. The Cowboys now are in control of their own destiny towards a division championship, while the Giants are in danger of yet another hot start that does not end in a playoff birth. This week they take on the undefeated Green Bay Packers and many say they are the last hope to prevent the Packers from going undefeated this year. While the Giants have not played as well as they have in the past, I look for them to pull of the upset at home.

If this match-up would have taken place five years ago, it may be the lowest rated Monday Night Football game of the season. However, this year, the team that normally would be on the recipient end of a huge blowout. But in 2011, things are different. This team is 4-0. The team, the Detroit Lions. The Lions have not had this excitement since the days Barry Sanders were running the most entertaining one yard runs, or even dancing his way 50 yards into a touchdown. Today The Lions are a new breed.Led by Matthew Stafford and Calvin Johnson, they are one most feared teams in the league. When playing these guys, no lead is safe. In week four, they were down to the Cowboys 27-3, and it seemed that they would lose their first game of the season. However, they did not give up,and it was the Stafford-Johnson connection that would send make the Lions 4-0. This week, they take on the Chicago Bears, a division rival. With the Lions hosting their first Monday Night football game in years, this will be a very emotional game and the Lions will look to capitalize.
